BHB Commerce

An independent venture where I am shaping a practical approach to eCommerce strategy, marketplace operations, reporting, and the work required to keep them connected.

BHB Commerce is separate from my current and former employers. The examples shown here do not represent client work, private company information, or measured business results.

Commerce work rarely happens in one lane

A marketplace priority can depend on product data, inventory, content, advertising, fulfillment, finance, and several teams making decisions at the right time. When those pieces are treated separately, important work slows down or loses an owner.

I started BHB Commerce as a place to develop a clearer way of connecting those decisions without turning every problem into a strategy deck or a list of disconnected tactics.

What I am developing

The work brings together the questions I see repeatedly in digital commerce: what matters now, where execution is getting stuck, what information a team can trust, and who owns the next move.

Connect business goals to channel priorities.

Make reporting and ownership easier to follow.

Turn recommendations into practical next steps.

Three principles behind the work

Make the priority clear

Commerce teams move faster when the business goal, channel priority, and next decision are understood before the work begins.

Connect the work

Product data, marketplace execution, reporting, and operations should support the same plan rather than compete for attention.

Stay close to execution

A useful recommendation accounts for the people, systems, dependencies, and follow-up required to put it into practice.

A home for practical commerce work

The visual direction is built around clear priorities, connected systems, and useful operating guidance rather than a traditional agency presentation.

What the work has reinforced

The venture is still developing, but its purpose is becoming clearer.

  • Clear ownership matters as much as a clear strategy.
  • Reporting is most useful when it helps a team decide what to do next.
  • A separate venture gives commerce work room to develop without turning this site into a services pitch.
