Brian Rundell

Senior Director of eCommerce

I lead eCommerce teams. I also like getting into the details and building a better way to work.

My day-to-day work spans marketplaces, B2B, and DTC at Crestview Collection and Porch View Home.

This is where I share the reporting, automation, AI experiments, and product ideas I am working on.

How I approach the work

Understand what is driving the result.

A channel number is only the start of the conversation. I look at inventory, product content, advertising, and fulfillment before asking the team to change direction.

Set the priority and stay involved.

The team needs to know what matters, why it matters, and who owns the next step. I stay close to the details when a decision or a difficult problem needs more context.

Make new technology useful to people.

I also lead AI work across the company, from department use cases to testing and adoption. I want people to know where a tool helps, where it falls short, and who checks the result.

My experience includes marketplace portfolios, distribution operations, and building an eCommerce website. That background keeps commercial decisions connected to what the team can deliver.

A report should make
the next decision clearer.

A sales number rarely tells the whole story. I look at inventory, advertising, fulfillment, and catalog health alongside it. When the numbers disagree, I check the source before asking the team to act.

Personal project / Agent Command Center

Less time retracing
the conversation.

Research, drafts, and decisions can end up in different places. I am developing a private workspace that keeps the context with the task, makes the work reviewable, and leaves the next decision visible.

This is separate from my employer's systems. The image shows an illustrative view, not live work.
